Ada’s Cafe

Ada’s Cafe is a delightful establishment located in Palo Alto, California, offering a fusion of bakery delights, coffee and tea selections, and a cozy cafe atmosphere. As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I am thrilled to introduce this women-owned gem that not only serves delicious food but also prioritizes sustainability with their use of compostable containers and plastic-free packaging.

This cafe goes above and beyond by providing a range of amenities such as offering takeout, reservations, vegan options, and wheelchair accessibility. Customers can enjoy their meals in the outdoor seating area, which is covered and dog-friendly. Ada’s Cafe also caters to those looking for a spot with free Wi-Fi, TV entertainment, and even an EV charging station for eco-conscious visitors.

When it comes to the menu, Ada’s Cafe shines with their breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. From freshly baked pastries to hearty sandwiches, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The cafe also offers waiter service, making your dining experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, Ada’s Cafe is a must-visit for those seeking a relaxed and eco-friendly dining experience in Palo Alto. The combination of delicious food, sustainability efforts, and welcoming atmosphere truly sets this cafe apart from the rest. I've been to Ada's Cafe three times now. The food and drinks are consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The sandwiches are huge! And the staff members are all warm, friendly, and personable.

We are here in Palo Alto for the summer and we stumbled on Ada's Cafe while visiting Mitchell Park library....what a delight!!! The food is great, the staff is so lovely and, it was the best latte I've had!!

Stumbled across this wonderful nonprofit café that trains, hires, and empowers adults with varying abilities and challenges. The food is delicious and the inside is cozy and welcoming. The staff are friendly and inviting. Service is fast and there's additional seating outside. There are many more cafés in the peninsula that charge far higher prices without the socially-driven mission that Ada Café has. If you want to support a locally-owned small business that actually invests back into the people living in the local community, make sure you check out Ada's! I recommend the blueberry scone with whipped butter and jam on the side ($6), as well as the breakfast croissant ($12). I will definitely come back!

Adorable little cafe nestled into the Palo Alto community center and library! They do $5 tomato plants, or you get a free one if you spend $25+. I appreciate that they make it clear that you can do work there, but just buy something every 2 hours. The tables are kept clean with fresh flowers as a nice touch! The vegetarian croissant sandwich was delicious (but $12), and 12oz latte is $5.50.
